psychosis

i got a taste of the kind of psychic pain it would take to make me want to kill myself on my 19th birthday and a few times in my freshman and sophomore years in college. 

i would eat edibles with unknown quantities of weed in them. after a few bouts of mind-splitting fear coupled with intense physical paralysis, i learned not to do that. i like to think that it made me stronger
