the best moment of my life

one night in college, a few of my friends and i were loitering unsuccessfully outside a big frat party, and one of the Bros came out from the house and said Hey Man didn’t you do stand up last week, at birds nest cafe? and i was like Yeah. and he was like You’re really funny man, you and your friends can come right in. and they all looked at me like I was Hercules. 

the second best moment of my life was at the gym, early last year. finishing up a work out. a girl came up to me as i sat idly staring into space trying to avoid eye contact with all women and she said: hey, i think i saw you doing stand up at jai thai last week. you were really good! i said i’m glad you think that. and then nothing else happened.
